WHY PRO BREAKERS PLAY BBOY SPORT
BBOY SPORT FAQS
Bboy Sport Battle Format
Bboy Sport Battle unites breakers of all ages to compete in three original and distinct breaking battle rounds: Footwork, Powermove, and Burner. A panel of 3-10 judges evaluates each performance based on 10 fundamental elements of competitive breaking.
After each round, scores are displayed, allowing breakers to see their current standing. This transparency helps competitors strategize for their next set, deciding whether to go all out or conserve energy. For spectators, this adds an extra layer of drama and suspense, making each battle a captivating experience from start to finish.
JUDGING CRITERIA & ELEMENTS
In the World Bboy Battle League (WBBL), B-Boys and B-Girls are judged on a scale of 60 to 100 points across ten key elements. These elements encompass everything from degree of difficulty, speed, stamina to innovative aspects like creativity, musicality, and execution. Each element is scored independently by a panel of experienced judges, and the final score is calculated based on an average of all the elements and judges. This ensures a well-rounded evaluation of a breaker’s overall talent and performance.
