2 ATHLETES. MULTIPLE STYLE ROUNDS. 100-POINT SCORING SYSTEM

In World Bboy Battle League, athletes compete head-to-head in structured battles. Each round highlights a different part of the athlete’s Breaking skill and style set. Judges evaluate performance using clear scoring elements, and the athlete with the highest total battle score wins.

The goal is simple: make Breaking understandable to mainstream fans while protecting the creativity, culture, and individuality that make it special.

THE BATTLE FORMAT

WBBL is building a team-based league future where fans can support their city, follow their favorite athletes, track standings, buy merchandise, and experience Breaking as a true sports property.

FOOWORK ROUND

Footwork is dancing with your hands and feet on the floor. The Footwork style highlights rhythm, flow, transitions, creativity, floor control, musicality, and technical foundation.

POWERMOVE ROUND

Powermoves are dynamic and acrobatic body movements. The Powermove style highlights strength, speed, control, difficulty, stamina, athletic risk, and explosive movement.

BURNER ROUND

Burner rounds are where athletes perform their best set in all styles. The burner round highlights performance, execution, musicality, degree of difficulty, freezes and transitions and every scoring element.

WBBL judging is designed to help fans understand why an athlete wins a battle. Each judge is accountable in judging a specific element(s) using a 100-point scoring system.

HOW SCORING WORKS

Judges score athletes across assigned performance elements. Scores are calculated across rounds to determine each athlete’s battle total. The athlete with the highest total score wins and advances.

WBBL scoring is designed to make the result easier to understand for fans, athletes, broadcasters, sponsors, and media partners.
